What is the Virtual Nursing Academy?

The Virtual Nursing Academy is the premier, self-directed online program designed to educate and enable organizations to build, launch, and optimize their virtual care delivery models. The Virtual Nursing Academy focuses on developing a strategic approach, building a pilot plan, creating a governance structure, outcome tracking, and optimizing operations of a virtual care model.

The program is 8-weeks in length and is offered regularly. It is perfect for nurse executives, informaticists, leaders, virtual nurses and other clinical team members who will be involved with a virtual care model.

Participants will earn up to 33.75 CEs.

These sessions are conducted by our experienced faculty who offer both expert guidance and valuable insights to assist your organization and are open to members of your team that may not be participating in the Virtual Nursing Academy.

Private coaching time allows us to collaborate with your team on tailored solutions that directly align with your organization's goals and timelines and will help you work through organizational challenges to allow you to build and launch faster.

Continuing Education

This nursing continuing professional development activity will award a maximum of 33.75 contact hours for completion of all modules. CNE contact hours will be awarded upon completion of each module’s exercise. This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Georgia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Bonnie was among the first to revolutionize how virtual nursing care is practiced and delivered in hospitals and created the Virtual Nursing Academy to deploy virtual nursing across the country.
